As reported in previous newsletters Spanish pig population & export growth has been accelerating at a rapid pace since last year. Spain is getting very close to Germany now in terms of pig numbers.
Mexico has also now opened as an export market for Spain which is a boost to potential export volumes. We expect Spain to be the number one EU exporter by the end of the year.
